of Brian W. Clowes, Director
Research and Training
Brian Clowes
is the Director of Research and Training for Human Life International.
He has worked full-time in this capacity for more than eleven
years after working as a systems analyst for the federal government
and, before that, as a team leader in the United States Army Special
Forces.
His books
include The Pro-Life Activist's Encyclopedia, The Facts of
Life, Call to Action or Call to Apostasy?, Catholics for a Free
Choice Exposed. Other works include the Pro-Life Basic Training
Program, the Pro-Life Library Compact Disc, and
the Abortion Violence Web site at http://www.abortionviolence.com.
His articles
cover many different subjects and have appeared in a wide variety
of publications, including Human Life Review, Homiletic and
Pastoral Review, The Wanderer, the Vatican's Lexicon
on Ambiguous and Debatable Terms, Cristo el Mondo, Medizin und
Ideologie, The Yale Journal of Ethics, and Jewish Spectator.
A 1974 graduate
of West Point, Brian holds a Ph.D. in Systems Science, and is
married to the former Kathy Krynock. They have seven children.
Dr. Clowes
has traveled more than a million kilometers to 35 countries training
and organizing pro-life groups and giving talks on a variety of
subjects all over the world.
