Having just returned from an intense mission with Family Life International in New Zealand, I wanted to share with you how vital it is to reclaim the culture for life!

With the Church and many faithful suffering from a laxity in proclaiming the faith, life and family advocates — clergy, consecrated religious, and laity — are the key to reclaiming the culture and bringing back the zeal that St. John Paul II both demonstrated and called us to make our own:

What is urgently called for is a general mobilization of consciences and a united ethical effort to activate a great campaign in support of life. All together, we must build a new culture of life (Evangelium vitae, 95).

More than ever, HLI’s presence through our pro-life and pro-family missionaries is an authentic Catholic “life force” in need of our intense prayers and support. I am ever grateful — and encouraged — that we can continue to reclaim the culture, for life, and for the glory of God.
