Fr. Nelson Francis Ngonyani is bringing the truth about life, love, and marriage to eight villages in the Archdiocese of Songea. And it all started because of you. 

When Fr. Nelson was still a seminarian, you sent HLI missionary Emil Hagamu to speak at a pro-life conference. That day changed Nelson’s life.  

Because of you, Nelson learned how important it is to protect pre-born children, defend marriage, and teach young people about chastity. And he dreamed of sharing this message with others. 

Today, Father Nelson spreads the message of life all around his parish—with your help. 

Because of your support, Fr. Nelson is teaching teens about chastity, blessing marriages, and bringing pro-life truth to eight villages. Next month, you can form another seminarian to follow in his footsteps!

Fr. Nelson is Empowering Youth Through Faith and Education

Thanks to you, Fr. Nelson knows the battle for life is fought in the hearts of young people.  

In each of the eight villages he serves, Fr. Nelson hosts pro-life workshops for teens. These young men and women are learning about God’s plan for love, chastity, and marriage.   

But it doesn’t stop there. 

In Tanzania, Catholic priests are allowed to visit public schools. Fr. Nelson visits all the schools in his parish and brings the truth with him.  

Thanks to your education, Fr. Nelson is reaching many young boys and girls—teaching them that life is a gift, and God’s plan for sexuality is special.  

Because of you, Twenty Couples had Their Marriages Blessed! 

Fr. Nelson also knew that adults needed formation. And he remembered how Emil Hagamu had changed his life as a young man. So, Fr. Nelson invited Emil to speak at his parish again. 

Because of your support, Emil led a workshop on responsible parenthood for 135 parishioners last spring. He spoke the truth about abortion, contraception, and the beauty of Natural Family Planning (NFP).  

Many people heard these truths for the first time—because of you. And the fruits were amazing. 

Thanks to your generosity, twenty couples decided to have their marriages blessed in the Church.  

These families are now living in the grace of the Sacrament of Marriage—all because you helped bring the truth to their lives.
