The Crisis of Modernity & the Cure of Tradition

Austin Peck shares how a 15-year search for truth led him from evangelical Protestantism into the Catholic Church. He describes filming Holy Week in Spain, where Catholic tradition is “woven into the culture” through ancient confraternities, dramatic processions, penitential practices, and stunning sacred art.

Peck also speaks candidly about the crisis of modernity, the loss of rootedness among American Catholics, and the temptation to embrace individualism over objective truth. Peck argues that without a return to the sacramental life and authentic tradition, both Europe and America will lose their cultural foundations.
