How Do Vacuum Abortions Work?

Vacuum aspiration abortion is a surgical procedure done either manually or by machine in the first trimester (when the woman is 5 to 13 weeks pregnant). The abortionist inserts a tube into the uterus and uses suction to tear the fetus to pieces and out of the mother’s body.
